George P Martin is a London-based theatrical performance designer, specialising in costume design.

His work reaches extensively across Theatre, TV & Film, including work in the West End & Broadway, Warner Bros. Studios and Apple TV. He regularly works in drama schools, including Mountview Academy and RCSSD as well as assisting designers on larger-scale productions.

 

Growing up in a small town near Stoke-on-Trent as a queer artist, George often felt underestimated and undermined in his creative vision; his work now celebrates diversity and what it means to be queer, pushing and celebrating themes of gender and sexuality. His work challenges stereotypes and tackles misconceptions, initiating conversation and reaction, expanding across disciplines with experience as both designer and design assistant in theatre, film and tv, with work covering set and costume design.
