PROCESS

The costume design for 'Into the Woods' began with an exploration into the themes of Sondheim's libretto- themes of family, betrayal, loss and love. Set in a post-war abandoned theatre, myself, director Richard Fitch and set designer Greggor Donnely curated our vision.

Maison Margiela 2024 Artisanal presentation, exploring gothic romanticism.
Christian Dior's 1949 New Look presentation was a huge source of inspiration for silhouettes of the production.
Original paintings from the archive of Mr Dior during his creation of the New Look.



The first point of inspiration for Cinderella and her Step Mother, a sketch by Mr Dior.
Alexander McQueen was a point of inspiration for the witch.
